Pulsing energy flowed within my veins
Exploding excitement pummeled through my inner-self
A mix of happiness and fear
Found release upon my lips
Escaping through my eyes
The feeling shattered as a smile
My emotions exhaled in my voice
My anticipation spun my mind
It left me dizzy and alive
The cause of this inner bliss
A simple smile on your lips.
