REMEMBERING

I still here the sound of his fading smile
Thinning laughter, from the last I heard it
No more can I feel the wet of his mouth
Sweetly tasting, from the last I met it
For My lips drank their last drop of kiss
leaving themselves arid and thirsty.
The loneliness whispers on my back
Reminding me of my lacking protection
Introducing me to the emptiness at my side
The strength of my stubbornness dries my tears
Wipes them before they drown the color of my eyes
