BREATHLESS

Deceived

Misled

A picture painted in my mind

Painted over the one I thought was perfect

Slowly transforming with mixed colors

Unexpectedly washed away

Angry

Disappointed

For the sun I found was fake

No sign of clouds

What came and took my light?

Too involved in my newly naked canvas

Neglecting reality

until

it

came

and

took

my

breath...
